- The great pinhole picture to the right was taken by Tim Franco while the camera was on a spinning record. The exposure time was the length of "L'America" by The Doors using a Zero Image 2000. I'm not certain why it's showing up in the news this week since it was originally uploaded to "Flickr" in March 2009...wait, yes I do...any content can be turned into "News" if you're desperate enough. Wait, is that what I'm doing right now? Crap, I really need to get my negatives back from Dwayne's Photo. Click here to see a larger version of the image. The item appeared on Switched.
- El Instituto Cultural de México, in San Antonio, Texas, has an exhibit right now called "Slanted Glances." The show's theme is the lasting impact of independence and revolution in Mexico. There is a series of three pinholes by Arturo Betancourt titled "Reminiscencias De Un Pasado Revolucionario." Click here to see a PDF of the exhibit, including Betancourt's images. The original story,"A sideways look at revolution," was written by Elda Silva for San Antonio Express-News.

Appropriate: I took this pinhole in Leicester Square in 2005. The newspaper was the Evening Standard (I think):
